Sandra Serrant

Sandra Serrant has been in the hospitality industry and the meetings and events space for more than 20 years. She has worked for such great companies as National Football League (NFL), American Diabetes Association and TCMA at the Ronald Reagan Building. Serrant managed the events department for world-renown Chef/Humanitarian Jose Andres. Currently, she works for the Research Foundation-City University of New York. In addition, she is an adjunct professor at Westchester Community College, where she instructs classes about restaurant management, career readiness, event management and wedding planning. Serrant is the chair of MPI's Black Meeting Professional Community for 2022-2024. She is a member of the illustrious first Black sorority in the U.S., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and a Member of the NY Junior League. She is the loving mother of a daughter, Sophie. Although she has lived in Sweden, France, Spain and Dominica, her home is currently NYC.
