Human trafficking exists everywhere, but sorting fact from fiction and knowing what to do can easily overwhelm anyone. Traffickers and their victims can be of any age, race, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, nationality, immigration status, cultural background, socio-economic class, and education attainment level. However, we do know there is a disproportionate impact on the underserved and marginalized communities.
