Susan Garcia has been a program manager with the Kelley School of Business Executive Education team since the spring of 2018. In her role, she ensures quality management and delivery of assigned programs and courses and lends support to all other departmental endeavors.
Susan has over 15 years of experience managing a wide variety of educational programs in higher education, first as outreach coordinator for Indiana University’s Center for the Study of Global Change, then as program manager for Ivy Tech Corporate College, and now as a program manager at Kelley. She has experience with student orientations, instructor training, teacher focus groups, residential institutes, community open enrollment courses and programs, customized contract training, and more. Prior to working in higher education, Susan was a secondary education curriculum developer and teacher.
Academically, she has a master’s degree in international and comparative education with a concentration in higher education and student affairs from Indiana University, a secondary teaching certificate in comprehensive socials studies from Cleveland State University, and a bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in Spanish from Ohio University.
Susan has managed all the Certificate in Meeting Management programs, five total, since Meeting Professionals International and Kelley Executive Education began its partnership in the fall of 2018.
