Marie-France is Manager, Academic & International Conferences
at Concordia University, with over 12 years’ experience as a senior planner specializing in National and International academic conferences showcasing researchers for the non-profit and academic sectors.
As a member of MPI since 2007, Marie-France is actively involved in the meeting industry and has been in a leadership role with the MPI Montreal / Quebec Chapter for over 5 years and currently finishing her term as Immediate-Past President for the Chapter. With a passion to give back to her industry and designing experiences, she is one of the founding members The Event (a new industry conference co-hosted by Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal / Quebec MPI Chapters). She is also contributor to the former Meeting Incentive and Travel Magazine and served as a panelist for the Market Impact Report session at Incentiveworks in 2016 as an expert in her field. In 2018, she acquired the designation as a Certified Event Designer (CED) allowing her to implement a strategic management template in her planning.
