Amanda Simons

Principal at Honeycomb Strategies, has worked extensively in France and the US specializing in sustainable business operations for tour operators, hotels and in the event and tradeshow industry. Her expertise is focused on identifying strategy and helping clients execute on sustainable event management programs, sustainable destination management, industry research and analysis, bench marking and corporate sustainability reporting projects. Amanda served as Director of Operations at the Green Meeting Industry Council where she worked to grow industry adoption of sustainability, through business development and by creating and executing innovative sustainability education programs for event professionals. Amanda holds a master’s degree in Environmental Management and Sustainability from Portland State University.
