The past year sparked a wave of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives throughout the business ecosystem. Leaders in all industries have searched for the right thing to say or do as their employees emotionally process ongoing acts of systemic racial injustice.

Podcasts are increasingly becoming a source of information and communication. Right now, there are more than 700,000 active podcasts and more than 29 million podcast episodes. According to Apple in 2018, these numbers stood at 550,000 and 18.5 million respectively.

Podcasts offer a platform to share thoughts, opinions, research, and data in a flexible format that can be adapted and personalized. It creates an instant connection with the audience too.
