Re-Imagining The Trade Show Experience

This will be a panel consisting of myself and two meeting professionals. We will actively encourage audience participation, soliciting their questions and their answers to our questions:

  • Describe the difference in goals and mindset of an exhibitor vs a buyer at a trade show
  • Provide an example of a successful contest or give-away at a booth
  • What skills are most important to succeed as an exhibitor at a trade show?
  • How should an exhibitor calculate ROI of attending a trade show?
  • What are the pros and cons of hosted buyer programs? How would you improve them?
  • Discuss optional marketing programs for exhibitors offered by trade show operators (newsletter ads, signage, sponsorships) What works the best?

  • Challenge conventional solutions to marketing a booth and driving booth traffic
  • Understanding buyers' expectations
  • Reimagine tactics to follow up and measure results
