It can be a head-scratcher. Your event has all the key elements of success: valuable and timely education, networking opportunities with colleagues and more than a bit of fun. So, why aren’t people paying attention and participating? Perhaps it’s because we are designing events that work against how our brains are wired. In this session, we will explore the social drivers of the brain and how it can increase participant’s engagement, influence their learning, and increase networking capacity. We will explore the “why” behind people’s actions and behaviors and how that translates into an exceptional and valuable experience design. You’ll leave with a model that identifies five key motivational drivers for human behavior and decision making and you’ll take-away examples of how to best leverage that model to get your attendees focused, engaged and coming back for more.
