I started my career producing TV commercials and Music video clips in Mexico City. In 1994 joined UNICOM the first AV Company in Cancún producing live events for Corporate Meetings and growing the business internationally. The explosive growth of Audiovisual in the meetings Industry allowed me to play a key role in the company expansion. My job included Sales and Marketing Strategies, coaching sales teams, and developing Industry Relations.
In 2006 joined US leader Integration Company AVI-SPL with a great leadership and management team, hard work, and well organized contribute to a great success expanding and developing business in México to other frontiers.
In 2014 AVI-SPL was sold to Freeman/Encore expanding business opportunities throughout México, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic.
With the support of a visionary leadership team @ ENCORE, a career full of achievements such as the implementation and development of new products for the events industry as well as the exponential growth for the Destination Weddings Market proved to this day to be endless.
Having the opportunity to be part of the executive committee allowed me to contribute to develop and position the brand as a top-of-mind leader in the AV industry.
Actually, I am highly active in Industry Associations such as MPI, as part of the Board for MPI Mexican Caribbean Chapter, member of AVIXA as part of the LSC, and member of AFEET (Female Association of Executives of Tourism Companies in Mexico) promoting collaboration and business between women.
In 2006 I joined a well know US Integration Company AVI-SPL. With the knowledge of the Mexican Business Market and the depth of products and services through AVI-SPL, the opportunities have proven to this day to be endless. My involvement with industry Associations such as MPI for the AVI Rental/Production business and with AVIXA for live events and training are part of the reason for the overwhelming success of this region. The acquisition of AVI-SPL rental to Freeman/Encore brought me to my current role today.
