Bethany Lemanski

Creative Director, Gwendolyn Events & Entertainment

Bethany Lemanski is the owner and creative director of Gwendolyn Events & Entertainment. She spent her early years cultivating her entertainment skills performing on the high wire in the Florida State Circus and following her passion for paragliding, which led to interviews on the TV series “Extreme Sports”. Her love of adventure took her across the globe for several years, until she found her true home in the Crescent City, where she joined the cast of the neo-burlesque troupe, the Shim Shamettes, featured in the TV documentary “It’s Burlesque”. Her first job in the city’s industry was working as an entertainer for Carl Mack Presents. She quickly realized her passion for the planning and production of events and began honing her skills at creating unique “wow” moments for her clients as she moved up the ranks to a top sales associate.

Following Hurricane Katrina, she worked as the lead events coordinator for the Contemporary Arts Center New Orleans, producing over-the-top events on a small budget for the non-profit. During this time, Gwendolyn Entertainment (now Gwendolyn Events) was founded, and through Bethany’s diligence and leadership, it has grown into one of the top DMC’s in New Orleans, producing events for Caterpillar Corp., Starbucks, Mary Kay Inc., US Travel, Moet Hennessy, NADA, Chevron, Belk Inc., Pernod Ricard, Genentech, and countless others.

This adventurous spirit is evident in the production of her events. Bethany and her team are recovering workaholics who pride themselves on providing boutique-style customer service with the utmost attention to detail. They create professionally managed productions and blow the top off of them with memorable moments unseen in the industry.

The company's newest endeavor is tackling the Virtual Events world, her team is certified "Virtual Event Meeting Managers" and is working nationally on projects from a platform set up to virtual entertainment sourcing.
