Rick Counihan has been in the conventions and meetings industry since 2005. Currently, Rick is the Vice President of Client Services and Operations at Poretta & Orr Inc. Poretta & Orr is a conventions marketing company focused primarily within the healthcare conventions space. Specifically, Poretta & Orr has a focus within the emerging and biotech space utilizing expertise in bringing products and companies from pre-launch through launch phases. Rick’s background has been strongly focused within the healthcare space with his major clients being both large and emerging pharma. His oversight of general company operations and client services allows him to focus on the development of a strategy with the client teams and recommend best practices based on client needs and objectives.
