Carolina’s career spans over 25 years and several countries. Born and raised in Mexico and started in a DMC in Mexico as an Event Planner. After a brief education in Mexico City, she enrolled and graduated from the famed Les Roches International School of Hotel Management in Bluche, Switzerland. In Europe, she traveled and worked at one of the most prestigious hotels in Paris, Le Royal Monceau.

As a Sales Executive in a recognized catering company in Minnesota for four years, she supervised the Catering Team and oversaw administrative processes and service delivery to clients including 3M, Sears, Wells Fargo, Gander Mountain, Fidelity Investments, The Blue Book, Summit Orthopedics, Republican National Convention, SEIU Healthcare, Rotary International, MN Nurses Association, Carlson Wagonlit, GE Money, MN Department of Revenue, NALHFA, and others along with privet and social receptions.

ADP Inc attracted Carolina in Minnesota as the only single point of contact for the Spanish market in the state. During his tenure, she sold the 1st mayor firm acquisition in Minnesota. She had record sales, achieved incentive trips, and became Senior District Manager.

Her background includes B2B sales, catering, sales, and planning of meetings, Incentives, tradeshows, & destination weddings. She has extensive experience in all facets of hospitality management.

She served as part of the board of directors for the Mexican Restaurant Association of Minnesota (MERA), Volunteer for the MN Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Galas, and provide Payroll classes for new business owners in a local Hispanic non-profit organization. She enjoys traveling, music, movies, and practicing meditation & Yoga.

Carolina’s abilities and experience assisted Teneo Hospitality Group as the Director of Events for two years. She brought a unique insight into the Teneo global expansion creating and managing about 35+ events per year in different cities in the United States, Mexico, and Brazil.

Currently, she is the Director of International Operations at MAELCA Meetings and Events directing and operating events for corporate clients in the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, and others.
