L. Beth Krueger

Beth brings more than 30 years of experience in leadership, governance, strategic planning and organizational development of associations. With bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Rochester and continuing education in operation of organizational and communications, she has managed associations on the local state, national and international levels for memberships ranging from 300 to 70,000, as well as an affiliated philanthropic foundation. She currently serves as executive director for associations of professionals in health care fields and law; each has a substantial meeting planning calendar.

Her roles have included the multiple elements of working with governing bodies, strategic development, financial well-being, conference planning, professional continuing education, communications, publications, membership outreach and engagement, government advocacy, and human resources. Beth believes in bringing together talent and creating interdepartmental teams to generate collaborative thinking and action. Beth is an experienced coach in on-boarding and mentoring staff, building teams and interdepartmental collaboration, as well as working with organization leaders in developing and delivering key messages. She has served as consultant on organizational issues and communications for complex corporations and nonprofits.

Beth approaches her work as an ambassador, bridge-builder and catalyst, with the objectives and positive track record in developing associations to advance their missions, move to the next level, and maximize opportunity to serve and involve members. She also has been honored for her association work in promoting partnerships and diversity. An active volunteer and long-time member of the American Society of Association Executives, Beth serves on a number of boards and chaired the Capital Region Chamber of Commerce Nonprofit Council.
