Volunteers are at the heart of many of our events. Finding, training, and maintaining volunteers is a large part of what makes a successful event. But what makes a successful volunteer and how do we get there? Whether you’re a planner or a destination, you will find yourself needing volunteers at some point. Sit down with one of Rodeo Houston’s committee vice-chairman as she shares how she has been engaged as a volunteer for over 10 years. Rodeo Houston, the largest Rodeo in the United States, is built up of over 110 committees supported by over 35,000 volunteers, many of which become life-time volunteers. How do they do it? You’ll find out during this 30-Minute Monday.

Great job. We usually get .5 credits for attending these, but this one says there aren't any available. Do you know why? -Tara Quinn
