1 Clock Hour | Domain A: Strategic Planning
A discussion of APEX Green Meeting Standards, application of Sustainable Event Management Standards (BS8901/ISO20121) and the new Global Reporting Initiative Event Sector Supplement. The session will reveal when to use them and how they work together. The session also include a presentation on MPI's Sustainable Event Measurement Tool ‐ an online tool that allows planners and suppliers to measure the environmental and social impact of their meetings and events.

- Recognize differences in the new sustainable event standards and how they can work together
- Understand and use MPI’s Sustainable Event Measurement Tool and how it can be applied to measure the environmental and social impact of their meetings and events
