In this session, we are joined by event freelancers, Wendy Moyer, Dennis Krieger, and Suzy Scully. Virtual events were a needed pivot, but enough already! Face-to-face events are starting again, but how have things changed at the ground level on-site? In this session, we will discuss how event operations have changed with a panel of freelance event professionals, each of whom has recently worked operated events at multiple properties. Yep, we will talk about everything from room set-ups and vaccinations to buffets and staffing levels.

  • Learn how new, property-driven, safety requirements have changed the operating processes on-site so you can adapt your planning accordingly.
  • Understand the biggest changes and risks that have the largest effect on the success of your meetings so you can navigate around them.
  • Determine the best practices used for sensitive topics such as vaccine requirements, testing, and other on-site medical protocols in order to adjust planning with the least amount of disruption.
