An event is only as great as its attendee participation. Getting robust, enthusiastic attendance can be hindered by logistics, budgets, distractions, and health concerns. Often overlooked are more subtle attendance blockers such as an awareness gap, a language gap, or a passion gap. We will look at recent successes in managing all of these barriers. As a case study, we’ll interview Jennifer Sills who has innovated ways for her non-profit www.csnk2a1foundation.org to reach and attract a hard-to-serve global community.
You will learn how to:
Recognize and minimize attendance blockers in your event design and execution
Identify opportunities to increase awareness and passion in prospective attendees.
Master techniques to attract underserved, global community members
Leverage human factors to increase word of mouth, pre and post-event contact, and engagement.
