Experience can be the golden ticket in the industry. In this week's session, we will look further into ageism and its effects on the industry. This month we are joined by MPI's Young Professional Advisory Committee. We will examine and engage in meaningful discussions relating to age discrimination and the many roles young professionals hold in the meeting and events industry.

We would also love your participation prior to this event! Participate in the conversation by submitting your questions here in advance of the #RealTalk event!

Learner Outcomes:

1. Unlearn conscious biases and recognize the positive aspects of including young professionals in your employee sourcing strategy.

2. Those seeking employment will gain career-related knowledge to advantageously present themselves during the interviewing process, and those hiring will understand and strategize the creation of an inclusive environment for young professionals.

3. Understand how Meeting Professionals International (MPI) is empowering the MPI Young Professionals Advisory Council to build pillars in the community, especially assisting those transitioning from student to industry professional.
