Before 2020, meetings and conferences were in-person events. Yes, there were a few you could “watch” after the fact, but nothing compared to the in-person experience. This is still true however, with COVID still ever-present, our push to get back to the way it was is coming up short. We need to be ready for the future of meetings and conferences. That means hybrids. Hybrids will allow companies and organizations to plan in-person meetings providing a viable option for those that are not comfortable traveling to the meeting destination. Meetings and conferences will need to become a dynamic experience for those on-site and those tuning in remotely. For planners, this adds many new levels of complexity to your planning process. Can my standard meeting format work? What needs to change? What should I watch out for? What are the secrets to a successful hybrid meeting? What are the watch-outs? Join us as we explore and contrast the traditional, old-school hybrid (pre-COVID) and what must happen now to keep everyone engaged and offer a unique and valuable experience to all your attendees regardless of location. This session is specifically designed for meeting planners who plan corporate meetings and conferences and foresee hybrids in the future of their meeting structure. This session will provide tips, general information, and examples of how you can take your meetings and conferences hybrid.
