In this highly interactive 90-minute session, we will cover the basics of a harassment-free workplace. After a warm-up round, with table groups reviewing and then "carding" (red-yellow-green) a series of scenarios, we will then spend most of our time applying our knowledge and judgement. We'll work in table groups to assess risk and propose action plans against four case studies involving potential sexual harassment situations in the MPI Chapter environment. We will conclude the session with guidance of how to handle any harassment-related claims.

Learning Objectives:

  • To review and remember the definitions and aspects of sexual harassment in the work place.
  • To analyze and apply knowledge of sexual harassment in evaluating case studies of potential harassment situations.
  • To review and remember the claims process for any harassment claims made within an MPI Chapter.
