S³ Speaker Session Series | Leadership on the Run

Credits: None available.

0.5 Clock Hours | Domain A: Strategic Planning

February 27, 2023 | 12:00 - 12:30 PM CT

What is our Speaker Session Series?

Last year was dubbed by many as the “end of the sage on a stage” era of speaking – and rightly so. But what if you could get a closer listen to who is new or next in our industry without all the fanfare? Imagine discovering the next book you can’t put down or song you play on repeat, or even the next keynote you can never forget? Tune in to S³ - our new speaker session series where its just you, a featured speaker & the microphone.

Leadership on the Run - Being an Authentic Leader in a Fast Paced World

Join author, public speaker and former Southlake Mayor, Laura Hill, as she helps us get motivated to look at the workplace (and your life) in a more positive, energized way. You have the tools already!

Key discussion points
1. The pace of life has become an excuse not a motivator. It has trained us not to plan long term but only aim for short term goals.
2. The human mind only multitasks as a defense when it is over challenged. Focusing on one issue at a time is ideal.
3. A leader must have a balanced life to perform well against major issues.
4. Zoom will not get you where you want to go.
