Thomas joined the Texan in 2015 responsible for the total sales of one of the largest convention hotels outside of Las Vegas. With over 1800 rooms and almost 500K square feet of space, the hotel sees well over 300K groups rooms every year. The Gaylord Texan is part of the Marriott family of brands creating entertaining experiences. Thomas has been with Marriott for over 20 years working in varied roles in resort, urban and airport hotels with stops at Orlando World Center, Chicago Marriott Downtown as well as part of the team launching Marriott’s Sales Transformation initiative in 2008. Most recently, Thomas has been engaged directly with the evolution of processes and customer engagements related to the impact of Covid-19 pandemic. Thomas lives in Southlake, TX with his wife and two boys.
