"Sarah Haines, Vice President of Event Management, ITA Group, has over 15 years of event industry experience working with global clients in life sciences. Over the past year, her focus has been helping clients adapt their event strategies. Sarah has also been leading an ITA Group task force to create thought leadership and new health risk mitigation protocols. She’s building a path forward by securing trusted partnerships with leading brands Eurofins and Marriott Global to give meeting professionals and attendees confidence and peace of mind when they’re ready to return to live events. Sarah is passionate about giving back to the community where she lives and works in Des Moines, Iowa. In addition to serving as the Event Co-Chair for the Healthiest State Initiative, she also has a special place in her heart for ALS and has spent time supporting its mission this year. As her uncle was recently diagnosed with progressive neurodegenerative disease, she commented, “It’s hard to see what this disease does to a person and their family.” In 2019, Sarah was elected to a three-year term as a Trustee on the Incentive Research Foundation Board, and in September 2020 she became involved with Make-A-Wish Iowa as a Board Member."
