Nicole Benner is a corporate and association meeting planner with over 15 years of marketing and event management experience for professional services firms and non-profit associations. In her career, Nicole has planned and executed educational seminars, hybrid meetings, webinars, networking dinners and cocktail parties, golf outings, awards ceremonies, and more.
Nicole has been a member of Meeting Professionals International since 2010, and has served in numerous leadership roles for the Philadelphia Area Chapter. She currently serves on the MPI Philadelphia Area Chapter Board of Directors as President Elect, and her passion for the Chapter involves matching the goals and interests of new Members with volunteer opportunities within the organization as well as mentoring existing volunteers to support their aspirations toward organizational leadership. Nicole was recognized as the MPI PHL Chapter Leader of the Year in 2017 as well as Tomorrow’s Leader in 2012. In addition to her local leadership, Nicole serves on MPI's Global Diversity and Inclusion Task Force.
Nicole earned her Meeting Planning Certificate from Temple University’s Meeting Planning Certificate Program in 2005, and is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP). She has also earned her Virtual Event and Meeting Management (VEMM) certificate from the Event Leadership Institute. She is currently enrolled in Temple University’s School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management where she is a Candidate, Master of Science in Hospitality Management, Event Management Concentration.
