Elizabeth Fretheim

Elizabeth Fretheim, Freeman, VP of Sustainability is responsible for developing and operationalizing our company’s sustainability strategy and standards by partnering across our lines of business to minimize our carbon footprint and drive innovative solutions that support a net zero carbon future. Elizabeth brings more than 20 years of sustainability-focused experience to this role, most recently from Nikola Corporation, where she was the Global Head of Sustainability & ESG responsible for enhancing the sustainability of Nikola’s products and operations, including vehicles, infrastructure, and fuel. While at Nikola she also led business development efforts for its zero-emission vehicles and infrastructure. Her professional tenure also includes supply chain and logistics sustainability roles with Walmart for both their network of distribution centers and fleet of commercial vehicles, and business development roles with ATCO Group.
