Deanna Nwosu

Deanna is a hostess at heart. This led to her career in event planning which allows her to coordinate countless opportunities to connect with clients, vendors, and stakeholders across all social strata. With more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, taking care of clients, members and attendees are second-nature and the driving force behind her work. After attending Bowling Green State University for business administration, Deanna completed post-graduate studies at The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University. She started her career as a Meeting Planner for Precision Metalforming Association. After a few years’ hiatus to focus on her family she returned to the industry on the corporate side, working as an Event Manager for Smithers Information. Deanna currently holds the role of Event Planner for Foundation Software who provides back-office solutions for small to mid-size construction firms. A CMP since 2017 and DES since 2020, she is also an active member of Meeting Professionals International, serving on the membership and marketing committees for the Ohio chapter. In 2020 she launched DeannaCamille.com and a course for public speakers on how to pitch to meeting planners. As a mom of two girls and born and bred Ohio girl, Deanna is always dreaming of a beach vacation.
