Daniel Stones CMP, DES

As Senior Director of Industry Relations, Dan spearheads sales, marketing and brand

management efforts for Cogent Global Solutions through active industry engagement

and leadership. His robust career includes work in AV technology, college admissions,

conference planning in K-12, higher education, and medical associations as well as

sales and account management for several 3rd party planning organizations.

He is an unrelenting champion of the meetings industry, pursuing numerous volunteer

positions outside of his day job. He is the President of PCMA’s Rocky Mountain Chapter

and sits on Customer Advisory Boards for the cities of Houston and St. Louis. His

resume also includes previous responsibilities on PCMA’s EduCon Content Committee,

as President of the Ignite Denver Committee, as well as a panelist, guest lecturer,

presenter and moderator.

Dan holds BAs in both Communication Studies and Spanish from the University of

North Texas, including study abroad trips to Spain and Cuba. He recently spent half of

2023 living in Mishima, Japan with his family and remains committed to learning the

Japanese language. He lives in Denver with his wife, three children and pet chickens, is

an avid whitewater kayaker and outdoor enthusiast.
