Craig Jacobs has surrounded the hospitality industry from 1982 – 2015, starting his career for a great brand at Hyatt Hotels, before progressing to two iconic historic resorts, the Arizona Biltmore and Hotel Del Coronado as Director of Sales & Marketing and General Manager, then onto Preferred Hotel Group as Sr. Vice President of Group Sales. His latest endeavor is the co-founding of a company called close the gap. Based in La Jolla, CA, close the gap provides its clients with the power to send graphically enriched text messages to specific audiences for the purpose of driving incremental sales and enhancing client engagement. Versions of the software are customized for hotels and resorts, event planning companies, intermediary sales organizations, and trade show operators.
